This afternoon i gave my 6 y.o. Queensland Heeler a Heartgard Plus chewable.

Within a couple hours my dog's heart was racing and he was panting excessively [though the weather is very cool and he had not engaged in any activity]. I tried to interest him in chasing his favorite ring toy. No interest. Offered him a milkbone, which is a special treat he only gets every few days.

No interest. Put food in his dish. No interest, and he's an avid eater. called Merial, the supplier for Heartgard.

The operator said no vet tech was available. I asked about a call back as soon as someone arrived in the morning. Sorry..."you need to call back." Heartgard is an expensive product. One would think they would have concerns for their customers.


I cannot continue this review because the words I think appropriate are too profane. All I'll say is "XXX *** them to ***" for their absolute lack of concern.
